Hundreds dance in aid of cystic fibrosis

Hundreds of men and women joined in the Brackley Zumbathon last weekend helping to raise more than £8,000 for charity.

More than 300 people took part in the mass fitness dance in the grounds of Magdalen College School on Saturday, September 15, organised by Ceri Davies and the Z Crew from Brackley Zumba to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

Posting on the Brackley Zumba Facebook page Catherine Upstone said: “Just fantastic! The weather, the people, the atmosphere and support.

“CF mums often talk about being lonely, but how can I be knowing you are all out there. Amazing you are all fab!”

She added: “Ceri Davies you have done an incredible thing today with your crew, what a positive and amazing day.”

Zumba session take place at MCS’s Waynflete site on Mondays between 7pm and 8pm and on Wednesday and Thursdays between 7.45pm and 8.45pm. Email brackleyzumba@hotmail.co.uk for more details.
