Identity of man killed last week is released

BICESTER: The Oxfordshire Coroner’s Office has released the identity of a man who was killed in a collision with a lorry on Wednesday afternoon.

Leigh Horn, 30, from Wensum Crescent, died following the collision with a blue and white DAF lorry in Shakespeare Drive at about 2.15pm.

The road was closed for more than two hours while investigators examined the scene.

An inquest was opened and adjourned on Friday, with the full inquest to take place in several months’ time.

Police have appealed for any witnesses to the collision to come forward.
