injury: A man was airlifted to hospital this week after becoming trapped under a digger.
The Warks and Northants Air Ambulance (WNAA) was called to The Butts, Aynho just after 4pm on Monday, October 15, after a digging machine toppled over trapping a 59-year-old man by his leg.
Firefighters raised the digger using an air inflation bag, allowing the man to be removed from under the vehicle, and he was flown to the major trauma centre at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire.
