CHILDREN at Maids Moreton School have lots to celebrate.
Not only has the school had both a Good Ofsted report and a glowing report from church school inspectors, last term, but children can also now enjoy a new play tunnel on the school field and a new outdoor classroom.
The church school inspector said: “ Maids Moreton school provides an excellent learning environment where pupils are proud to belong, feel valued and achieve highly.
“Here is a place where exemplary relationships are nurtured and everyone values the care and respect which underpins school life”.
Headteacher Keira Ainsworth said: “Ofsted praised our school, noting the outstanding pupil behaviour, strong caring ethos and high expectations, where pupils make good progress and achievement is significantly above national standards, particularly in reading and maths.

“This term we have also had a new play tunnel built on the school field with money raised by the PTA from last year’s Summer Fayre.
“Earlier in the year, we also had an outdoor classroom built which we are using to enhance our outdoor curricular opportunities.
“After fulfilling the role of acting headteacher for the past academic year, I have also been appointed as the permanent substantive head of the school and look forward to ensuring the school goes from strength to strength.
“We still have places left for September.”
