Man trapped under tractor

MARSH GIBBON: Several fire and ambulance crews, including two air ambulances, were called out to assist a man trapped under a tractor at about 3.50pm on Saturday, June 30.

The tractor, which was in a field in Station Road, Marsh Gibbon, had tipped over, trapping the driver behind the wheel.

Firefighters used chocks, airbags and winches to effect a controlled release.

The 55-year-old man, who suffered a minor leg injury, was taken by land ambulance to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
