MCS spreads festive cheer
CHRISTMAS: Students at Magdalen College School in Brackley will be getting the Christmas spirit flowing with festive performances this week and next.
From 7.30pm on Thursday, December 6, there will be a Christmas Concert in Waynflete Hall featuring the Jazz Band, Brass Ensemble, the Year seven choir, the School Orchestra, Rock Band and soloists.
Tickets cost £3 for adults, £2 for children, with proceeds going to the music department.
From 7.30pm on Wednesday, December 12, they will host the 113th Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols in the Chapel of St James and St John, High Street.
Then on Friday 14, pupils and staff will present a cabaret style evening. Tickets cost £5 or £3, and includes a platter nibbles, but bring your own drinks.
