THE assistant manager of Buckingham’s British Heart Foundation shop, Megan Beal, has dyed her brunette hair flaming scarlet to mark the launch of National Heart Month in February.
Megan, aged 20, is asking for sponsorship to keep the colour on her hair for the whole month if possible. For every £50 raised for the BHF, she will keep the colour for another week.
The shop is also promoting its Love Notes. For as little as £1 or £2, you can write your own message on a heart-shaped note to be displayed in the shop’s window. And February 24 is Wear Red Day, when workplaces, schools and groups are encouraged to wear red and give a donation to the BHF.
