NEPAL CRASH: Minute’s silence to be held to remember Ben Ogden

editorial image

A minute’s silence will be held by Buckingham Town Council in memory of Ben Ogden, the former Royal Latin School pupil who died following a plane crash in Nepal this morning.

The silence will take place at a meeting of the full council on Monday.

Town and district councillor Robin Stuchbury expressed sympathy for the family who live and work in Buckingham.

He said: “As a father of two boys, I can only empathise with how they must be feeling.

“It is such a tragedy that such straightforward and honest people have had such a tragic loss and I feel deeply for them.

“I only hope that they get a full understanding of what happened.”

He added Buckingham was a close community and everyone would be sympathising with the family.
