BUCKINGHAM: Work begins on Monday to remove the old children’s play equipment from Bourton Park, with a view to installing an exciting new play area.

Buckingham Town Council consulted local schools to find out what the children wanted from the new play area.

The new equipment will include a zip wire, basket swing, spinning dish, a central ‘tree house’ playhouse with a tube slide and scramble net and an adventure trail. The equipment will be made of natural timber.

The aim is to complete the update in time for the new year.
