Northants art project up for national recognition
Not the War of the Worlds, but part of the Flow Northamptonshire visual arts project. 180 degrees of Light is a five square mile triangle of laser light above the skies of Rothwell, Desborough and Corby.
ART: A visual arts project in Northants has be given a place in the semi-finals of a competition to win national recognition and £2,000 funding.
The year long Flow Northamptonshire project includes a fortnight of artistic activity based on narrowboat travel in Cosgrove and includes a performance in the Blisworth Tunnel.
The project is one of ten hoping to be voted the best Lottery Funded Project at the finals to be broadcast on BBC television.
Other elements of the Flow Northamptonshire project include a five square mile laser light triangle projected over the skies of Rothwell, Desborough and Corby, and the Seven Spires display on the Oxford Canal near Braunston.
