Police appeal over rural jewellery burglaries
Police have appealed for information from the public, after a series of burglaries in rural Aylesbury Vale where thieves have targeted jewellery.
There have been 29 of these burglaries in Aylesbury Vale between last October and February this year.
The targets are unoccupied houses, which have been burgled during the daytime between 11am and 4pm, on different days of the week.
After getting into a house, the thieves carry out an untidy search, making off with valuable jewellery and small electrical items such as laptops.
