Police appeal for witnesses after toddler seriously injured
A TWO-YEAR-OLD boy was airlifted to hospital with serious head injuries following a road traffic collision in Tingewick yesterday, Monday,
Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash, which involved a silver Peugeot 806 and a white Mercedes articulated lorry towing a blue trailer.
Four fire engines were called to the collision, which took place just before 9.30am on the A421 Tingewick Road.
Firefighters released the boy, who was a rear seat passenger in the Peugeot, and he was airlifted to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford for treatment.
A woman was also injured.
PC Jason Brinklow, from the Roads Policing Unit in Milton Keynes, is appealing for any witnesses to the collision to come forward, as well as anyone who saw either of the vehicles before the collision.
