Post mortem reveals Bicester victim died from multiple wounds

A post-mortem examination of a young Bicester mother who died on Saturday revealed she had suffered multiple wounds.

The post-mortem was carried out yesterday afternoon following the death of 31-year-old Janeé Parsons from Lucerne Avenue.

The wounds had been caused by a sharp instrument, said Thames Valley Police.

Mrs Parsons was found at her home on Saturday morning. Despite attempts by police and ambulance staff to resuscitate her, she was declared dead later in hospital.

The victim’s family has been informed.

A 38-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is in police custody.

Thames Valley Police said children were not present at the detached home when officers arrived, contrary to some reports.

Area commander Supt Andy Boyd said it was not believed to be a random attack and that the victim knew her assailant.
