RSPCA Inspector Rob Hartley 120918M-G559

RSPCA Inspector Rob Hartley 120918M-G559

RSPCA chief inspector Rob Hartley, from Buckingham, is undertaking the challenge of a lifetime in February, when he aims to scale Kilimanjaro to raise funds for the charity.

And to help him get in training for the event, the Swan Pool & Leisure Centre has offered Mr Hartley a free gym membership.

Mr Hartley, who is chief inspector responsible for Bucks, Oxon and Herts, has worked for the RSPCA for 17 years. He will be undertaking the climb along with 15 RSPCA colleagues.

He is aiming to raise £4,000 towards the charity’s work.

He said: “The RSPCA needs to raise more and more money each year to continue responding to animals in need. As part of my role, every day I witness first hand acts of neglect, cruelty and violence towards animals.”
