Say ‘oui’ to wonderful food from continent at market
Flag of France flying
Tastes and smells of the continent will return to Cherwell’s streets this weekend as a French market arrives.
Stalls will be set up in Bicester on Saturday and they will be open from 9am to 5pm selling a host of food, drink and crafts.
The market will also be visiting Kidlington today, Friday, and the Banbury Canal Festival on Sunday.
Cherwell deputy leader, Councillor George Reynolds, said: “This market has always proven extremely popular and I suspect it will do so this time. While the traders do try to ensure enough stock is available, some of the more popular items have been known to run out. I would urge people to arrive as early as possible so they don’t miss out.”
