Serious head injuries in rush hour crash
Crash on A43
A male driver has been taken to hospital with serious head injuries following a crash on the A43 near Brackley.
Emergency services were called to the section of the A43 between the BP services and the Buckingham Road roundabout at 8.26am today, Friday, February 3.
A fire crew from Brackley dealt with the accident which involved two vehicles.
The seriously injured driver was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford via land ambulance while the second driver was treated at the scene.
A police spokesman said the dual carriageway was closed in both directions for around an hour. The south bound carriageway reopened at around 10.30am and north bound is expected to reopen at 12.30pm.
