SCHOOL CROSSING PATROLS: To highlight the good work of the county’s lollipop men and women, Bucks County Council is launching a ‘Stop Means Stop’ campaign on Monday.

Motorists and cyclists have a legal duty to stop when they are shown the STOP ‘lollipop’ sign.

Faiure to stop when requested can lead to a £1,000 fine, three penalty points and disqualification.

Anyone interested in becoming a lollipop patroller should call the school crossing patrol supervisors on 01494 586639 or 01296 383432.
