GAWCOTT: Former Army cadet insturctor Carmen Robinson helped break a world record last Friday, when she took part in a tandem parachute jump.

Ms Robinson, from Gawcott, was one of 410 people jumping to support Pilgrim Bandits, a charity that supports forces amputees and veterans.

She raised more than £500, including a donation of £100 from Ring Road Garage, and the total raised was an estimated £41,000.
