Support from concert band

WINSLOW: At its annual meeting last week, Winslow Concert Band had to select a charity to support, in accordance with its commitment to charitable fundraising events.

The band elected to support Alec’s Angels for the current year.

Named after a local boy, Alec Jarvis, Alec’s Angels is dedicated to raising money for Helen & Douglas House, CLIC Sargent and Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund.

Winslow Concert Band has raised over £2,600 in support of charities.
