Twenty-five residents of Meadow Court retirement home in Towcester received gifts of Christmas hampers.

The hampers were handed over by students from the SWAN CIC, a community interest company that works in partnership with local schools and community groups in the south west area of Northants to deliver education and experiences not normally found on a school curriculum.

All the food was donated by local businesses and Sponne School.

Sam Fitzgerald, of SWAN CIC, said: “All the residents were very pleased. They love to receive these small gestures and particularly knowing that young people are thinking of them.”
