There’s a chance to remember loved ones who have died at a Tree Of Light service at St Laurence Church, in Winslow, on Sunday.
This is a new service for the Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity. It is an opportunity to honour someone special by sponsoring a light which will shine throughout Christmas and New Year
At the end of the service, a tree will be lit outside the church during a short service of dedication. Individual dedications will be recorded in a Book of Honour.
The service will begin inside the church at 4pm, led by Winslow rector Belinda Searle-Barnes and the hospice chaplain, David Nash.
To sponsor a light, for a suggested minimum donation of £7, pick up a dedication form at the hospice shop on the high street or call 01296 429975. All donations go towards the hospice’s work.
