Tributes to a father and son from Maids Moreton who died following a fall in the French Alps last weekend have been paid on social networking site Twitter.

Peter and Charlie Saunders died following a walk in the Mont Blanc region. Their bodies were found on Sunday morning following a fourth aerial search.

On Twitter, Carys Phillips wrote: “RIP Charlie and Peter Saunders, meeting you once was good enough to know that you were lovely people. My thoughts go out to your family RIP.”

Natalie Bianco wrote: “RIP to Peter Saunders who died helping his son in the alps.”
