Police are appealing for witnesses after a 32-year-old local woman died following an accident on the B4525 Welsh Lane today, Monday, March 18.

Just after 7am a blue Fiat Punto was travelling towards Banbury when it was involved in what police have described as a ‘single vehicle collision’ and come to a stop at the side of the road.

A blue Honda Accord travelling in the same direction then collided with the Punto.

A police spokesman said the driver of the Punto died, while the Honda driver suffered minor injuries.
