UPDATE: Man dies following Weston-on-the-Green collision

A 51-year-old man has died following a collision on the B430 just outside Weston-on-the-Green.

Thames Valley Police said the accident took place at 7.25pm last night.

The deceased man’s family members have been informed, but he has not yet been formally identified by the Oxfordshire coroner.

The two-car collision happened at the junction with Akeman Street just north of Weston-on-the-Green. A Vauxhall Corsa was travelling along Akeman Street towards the B430 from Chesterton, and a Range Rover was travelling from Middleton Stony towards Weston on the Green on the B430.

Police are appealing for witnesses. Anyone with information should contact PC Dave Mitchell via the Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101.
