GREAT HORWOOD: A new book about an English village through the ages will be launched at the Great Horwood Combined School Christmas Bazaar on Saturday.

Great Horwood Past & Present has been written by a group of volunteer villagers, with the help of a £1,000 grant from the lord of the manor, Doyle Jackson Smith II, of Memphis, Tennessee.

The illustrated, locally published book costs £13.50.
