Witness appeal after fire at football ground

BUCKINGHAM: Police have appealed for witnesses after a fire was started at the disused football ground at Ford Meadow, Buckingham.

Fire crews from Buckingham and Winslow were called to put out the fire, which measured about 15m x 10m, in the wooden stand and changing rooms at about 8pm on Sunday night.

Police are treating the incident as arson. Anyone who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area should contact PC Nisbett 5234 on 101 quoting crime ref AG4064061/12.
