Woman, 43, fell from horse

A 43-year old woman was airlifted to hospital after falling from her horse at a farm near Towcester on Saturday.

Warwickshire & Northants Air Ambulance (WNAA) were called out to the woman, who received a head injury in the fall, at around 12.25pm.

On arrival, the patient was in a state of confusion and complaining of nausea.

She was given anti-sickness medication and was flown to University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire for further treatment in a stable condition.
