RETIRED deputy head of the Royal Latin School, Andy Cooper, was the guest speaker at the First Words Lunch Club on Monday.
The club, which raises money for the Puzzle Centre, in Middle Claydon, enjoyed a lunch at the Old Thatched Inn at Adstock and a talk from Mr Cooper about his long career in teaching.
Mr Cooper also paid tribute to the work of the Puzzle Centre Trust, which provides specialist education and therapy to very young children with autism and other communication disorders.
The speaker at the club’s next lunch, on September 24, will be Puzzle Centre patron John Bercow MP.
