Machinery stolen from rural barn

Police are looking for witnesses in relation to a burglary from a barn off the A421 in Singleborough.

The burglary took place sometime between Thursday and Sunday, July 25 and 28.

Offenders cut the chain to the main gate and drove across a field to an open barn.

Property stolen included a compressor, digger and double-axle trailer.

PC Nicki Tipping, from the Buckingham and District neighbourhood policing team, would like to hear from anyone who might have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area between those dates.

Police are urging members of the public to remain vigilant and make sure any suspicious activity around farming or rural locations is reported immediately to the police.

Where possible, obtain a description of the people concerned, along with details of any vehicle they are using, especially the registration number.
