Make sweet music with community choir

There are no auditions for a new community choir in Twyford, which is offering a free trial session as the new term begins.

The VoiceFusion Adults Choir is open to anyone, regardless of experience or ability.

The choir, which began last term, meets every Monday between 8pm and 9.30pm at Twyford Village Hall.

Sessions include vocal exercises and group singing, with a mixture of songs.

For the more adventurous there is the opportunity to sing in small groups or to perform solo.

The choir performed in July to an enthusiastic and appreciative audience of friends and family.

For some members, this was their first experience of singing in front of an audience.

The choir is now ready to begin a new term on Monday, Septemhber 10, and hopes to recruit some new members. Anyone aged 16 or over who would like a free trial session should call choir leaders Jane Horwood and David Charles on 01296 730751 or email voicefusion@live.co.uk
