Del Boy had his collar felt by the hand of the law when he made an appearance at a town football club.
Maurice Canham, who impersonates Only Fools and Horses character Del Boy Trotter, greeted visitors to Buckingham Athletic FC on Friday night for a night of entertainment featuring Tom Jones tribute act, Billy Lee.
Mr Canham used to work as a domestic appliance engineer but became a Del Boy impersonator due to his resemblance to David Jason, who plays the character in the hit sitcom.
Two local police officers, who were carrying out a crime check at the club, staged an ‘arrest’ of Del Boy at the scene.
Del Boy’s three-wheeled van was supplied by Paul Cakebread, of Maids Moreton.
Other entertainment on the night included Soul Generation disco.
The event was organised by Wayno Promotions.
Upcoming events at the club include Elvis Presley impersonator Alvin Printwhistle, on November 14, Jason Searle as Neil Diamond and the Rat Pack, on December 6 and soul, disco and reggae band RDG on December 20.
