North Marston artist Carol Bagni has ‘conjured the devil into her boot’, as the Rev John Schorne famously did 700 years ago.
Her instalation, in watercolour and Indian ink, will form part of a Flower Festival celebration at the parish church of St Mary the Virgin in North Marston over the weekend of June 14 and 15.
Flower arrangers from all five churches in the Schorne team will be participating, including Whitchurch, Pitchcott, Oving and Granborough.
The whole church will be festooned with flowers, depicting the church year.
Entry will be £2 and the monies raised will be donated the Florence Nightingale Hospice.
Refreshments will be served in a marquee on the church lawns.
