Get on your bike to raise funds for the Air Ambulance Service.
For the second year running the Brackley Festival of Motorcycling will support the charity which funds Warks and Northants and Derbyshire, Leics and Rutland Air Ambulances. Last year’s event raised more than £10,000 for the charity.
The Rescue Ride In invites motorcyclists from across the country to ride into the festival from Wellingborough, Hinckley and London.
They will converge at Silverstone before riding en masse to the festival, with a police escort.
Tracy Grunwell, head of fundraising, said: “The sight of hundreds of motorcyclists riding in to Brackley was truly memorable last year.”
The ride in and festival take place on August 17. To register log on to www.theairambulanceservice.org.uk/ridein.
The Air Ambulance Service receives no government funding, relying solely on public donations. Last year it was called to 118 motorcycling incidents.
