Burglars steal jewellery of great sentimental value

Police are appealing for witnesses after burglars stole jewellery of great sentimental value.

The burglary took place on Manor Drive, Stewkley, between 8.30am and 6.30pm on Monday, June 16.

Items stolen include an engagement ring, wedding ring, gold christening bangle and signet ring with the initials SL. Call 101 with any information.

Investigating officer Det Con Emma Francis, from Aylesbury Police Station, said: “Some of the items stolen are of extreme sentimental value and we are keen to get them back,

“We are appealing for any witnesses who saw anything, especially vehicles or anybody suspicious in the area of Stewkley on the day in question.

“We would also like to hear from people who live nearby that may have CCTV.

“Anyone with information, please contact me via the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101.”
