A beauty business has raised £500 to support the work of hospital staff.
Harmony Beauty Therapy, based in Market Hill, is celebrating its 10th year of providing treatments for Buckingham residents.
So to help mark the milestone, it held a fundraising drive with raffle prizes and special services.
The beauty team, led by Shweta Kapur, gave hand massages, manicures and mini-facials for a £5 donation while raffle tickets gave customers the chance to win products, treatments and even a chocolate shoe.
Harmony raised a total of £500 which was presented to John Wrigley, trustee of The League of Friends of Buckingham Hospital.
Company secretary Niraj Kapur said the team wanted to help a cause that is ‘important to so many people’.
He said: “I know how stretched nurses’ resources are and I think often nurses don’t get the credit they deserve.
“So it was important to show them some love and support.”
During the fundraising drive, Mr Kapur even stepped outside with a tray of chocolate strawberries to tempt people back in when the buzz had died down.
He said: “It was a really lovely day with a lot of community spirit and I was very proud of all their efforts.”
