The indie rock and alternative four piece consist of; Ruby Lewis on lead vocals, Seb James on guitar and vocals, bassist Oran Green and Alex Chadwick on drums.

Formed in August 2013 and steadily growing in popularity within the last two years the four piece are a favourite on Aylesbury’s gig circuit and are now extending their powerful original songs and crowd-pleasing covers further afield to the Oxford and London music scenes.

Having been nominated by their fans they now find themselves placing 2nd in the top 50 submissions out of a total 20,000 and are now asking the community to carry on voting in hopes of winning the competition.

Overwhelmed by the support they have received lead singer Ruby Lewis said “It’ll be incredible to play Camden Rocks especially because we’ve got there from the support and encouragement of everyone’s votes.”

Additionally, Seb James said winning would award them the chance to play at what he considers to be the centre of music in London – “You never know whoyou might meet due to the huge amount of influential bands on the line-up.” Emphasising the opportunities winning the competition could bring for Callow Saints drummer Alex Chadwick said, “I don’t believe I’ve heard of an Aylesbury band playing at Camden Rocks.”

Camden Rocks takes place on Saturday, June 4 at 20 different venues around the London borough.

As well as the headliners, gig-goers will be treated to the likes of Californian punks
Zebrahead, Libertines man Carl Barat and hopefully our very own Callow Saints.

Voting for band syou would like to see play is set to close at 6 p.m. on Thursday the April 30 and can be done daily by heading to http://po.st/CRF16bandvote and simply clicking ‘Callow Saints’.

You can also see Callow Saints live closer to home on the April 29 at Shoot Pool, Aylesbury or at The Wheatsheaf in Oxford on May 15.
