One of the country’s leading chamber music groups will be performing at an evening concert along with internationally acclaimed pianist Viv McLean.
The Adderbury Ensemble will kick off the University of Buckingham’s Summer 2014 Concert and Lecture series at The Radcliffe Centre at 7.30pm on Tuesday, July 22.
Formed in 1986 by some of Britain’s finest young musicians, the group started out with concerts in the village of Adderbury.
Since then it has established itself as one of the finest chamber groups in the country.
They will be playing Beethoven’s “Moonlight Sonata”, Mendelssohn’s Piano Trio Number 1 and Mozart’s Piano Trio.
Winner of the Maria Callas International Piano Competition in Barcelona, pianist Viv McLean has performed in all the UK’s major venues, with the Royal Philharmonic, Hallé, English Concert Orchestra and the Philharmonia.
