Children and parents from Chesterton CE School performed Hansel and Gretel for parents and friends last week.
It was pantomime number 18 for the school, which raised more than £40,000 for the school association.
This year’s play was a real family affair with Gaye Hudson directing and her daughter, Tash, starring. Other family members appearing included Jenny Hodges and her son-in-law Alister Gibbins, Colin Stocker and children Ben and Gabby, with Jude Stocker responsible for the scenery. Mel Cantwell also appeared in the play with her husband, Ian, working backstage. There were also several members of the Cordy, Williams, Willoughby and Kavanagh families involved.
Clare Kavanagh, chair of the Chesterton School Association, said: “A big thank you to all the people who have supported the pantomime over the years, either by starring, helping or being part of the audience.”
