A decision on plans to change Oxfordshire’s home-to-school transport policy is due to be made by the council’s cabinet on February 4.
The plans are based on the principle of offering free transport only to those children travelling to their nearest available school.
If approved, this would reduce current provision to the national statutory level.
Oxfordshire County Council’s Cabinet will make a final decision at a special meeting at 1pm on February 4. This will follow a meeting of the council’s education scrutiny committee, which will consider the proposals at 9.30am on the same day.
Anyone who has yet to submit their views should visit the online consultation before the deadline closes on January 14.
