Drug addiction play hits home

A powerful play about drug addiction drew a large crowd as it was performed at The University of Buckingham last week.

‘Mum, Can You Lend Me Twenty Quid?’ is based on the book of the same name, by Elizabeth Burton-Phillips, whose son Nick killed himself over his heroin addiction.

Elizabeth set up the High Wycombe-based charity, DrugFAM, and vice-chancellor Sir Anthony Seldon is a patron.
