Bucks County Council has become the first local authority to be awarded the Employer of the Year award by the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.
The team had been nominated for its support for staff in gaining qualifications, career development beyond qualification, and its work-life balance ethos.
Peter Hardy, councillor for finance and resources, said: “This is a great accolade. I’m proud of the team and delighted for them.”
Anne Davies, head of legal services, said: “We’re really proud to have won the CILEx Employer of the Year Award - a tremendous morale-boost for the team, and recognition of the council’s commitment to investing in our people.”
