A public meeting to set out the services available at Bicester’s new community hospital will be held next week.

The hospital, which is nearing completion, is due to open later this year on the site of the town’s former cottage hospital which is to be demolished.

The new facility, on Kings End, will have 12 individual patient rooms as well as diagnostics such as x-ray and ultrasound, a first aid unit, an out-of-hours service, therapies and an outpatients’ department.

All Bicester residents are invited to Thursday’s meeting to find out more about the hospital and its structure, how it will be laid out and the North East Oxfordshire Locality Group’s vision for its future.

The meeting will be held from 7-9pm at Littlebury Hotel, Kings End, Bicester, OX26 6DR.

For further information or to book your place, email jackie.bowley@oxfordshireccg.nhs.uk or call 01869 855000 and leave a message.
