Wine lovers have the opportunity to taste and buy special wines from around the world at the Brackley Wine Festival.

Guided by experts, discover new wines, where quality, taste and flavour take precedence over mass production.

Now in its fifth year, the annual event takes place at Brackley Town Hall from noon to 6pm on Saturday, April 26.

Ten wine merchants will be showcasing their wares, including members of the Association of Small Direct Wine Merchants and local independent suppliers.

Among them is Brightwell Vineyard, the largest vineyard in Oxon, and Brackley Wines Ltd, a family-run business set up in 2010 to supply fine wines and cheeses to Brackley and surrounding villages.

Culworth-based The Grapevine selects fine wines from around the world.

Austrian Wines Direct and Bordeaux & Beyond speak for themselves, while South African wines are represented at the festival by Ninesprings Wine and Vincisive Wines.

Brackley Deli will be supplying refreshments.

Proceeds from the festival, organised by Brackley Rotary Club, will primarily be shared between the Northants Parent Infant Partnership and Home-Start South Northants.

Admission £6. Wine will not be served to anyone who appears to be under 18.
