Pancakes were on the menu at the second session of fun church held at Hethe Village Hall on Sunday. Families were invited to go along and enjoy board games followed by some pancake races.
The children learnt about Lent and Easter during the session, which was followed by an informal service of prayers.
Church warden Pauline O’Gorman explained fun church was a way of making the church more light-hearted and welcoming to families. The lively sessions usually have a theme which activities are based around. A meal followed the fun and games and, of course, pancakes were a top choice for many.
