The annual Alec’s Angels It’s A Knockout competition and family fun day returns for the third year running on Sunday.
The event will be held at the Winslow Centre in aid of the Winslow-based charity.
Last year, about 800 people braved dodgy weather to attend the event, and eight teams had a splashing time taking part in the contest.
The team from Green Light Autos, in Buckingham, emerged victorious and the event raised over £3,000 for Alec’s Angels, which helps children and their families who are affected by childhood cancer.
Alec’s Angels was set up in memory of Alec Jarvis, from Hillesden, who passed away in 2011 at the age of nine, just 13 months after being diagnosed with a brain tumour.
Set up by Alec’s family and friends, the charity raises money for children’s cancer charity CLIC Sargent and Oxford children’s hospice Helen & Douglas House.
It’s a charity fun day with inflatables and lots of fun guaranteed.
Eight teams have already registered for this year’s It’s A Knockout contest, but there’s still room for last-minute teams of 10 to enter.

In addition to the It’s a Knockout, there will be family fun for all ages at the fun day, from 11am to 5pm.
Attractions include bouncy castles, fairground rides, trade stands, food and a licensed bar.
