The launch of ITV’s new news program, Good Morning Britain, was done to the tune of a Brackley-based company.
Sitting Duck Music and Media, owned by Rob May, produced the theme music for both GMB and the Lorraine program. Mr May said: “They had a very clear idea of the direction they were going to go.”
He said the company worked with the director and editor of the show to come up with the music, but did not get to meet any of the production’s stars.
Mr May added: “We used some sessions from orchestral players to play on it and some digital music. It is a mix between real players and sounds produced by computers.”
In February, Mr May and his team recorded a group of Brackley Town supporters singing a well-known football chant for an upcoming UEFA TV show. He is still tight-lipped about the production saying football fans would have to wait until September to find out what the project was.
Sitting Duck are also working on the a show for the BBC at the moment.
