Hall dedicated to memory of much-loved member of community

A much-loved member of the community who died last year has had a hall dedicated to his memory.

Denis Granville, a founder member of Band Jam and former technician at the Royal Latin School and The Buckingham School, died last August at the age of 60.

Mr Granville, who was well known around Buckingham, and has also been a town councillor.

Last week, the large hall at the Buckingham Community Centre was named The Granville Hall, in his honour.

A dedication ceremony was held and a brass plaque was placed above the door of the hall.
