Shenton Dixon, who sang in the blind auditions of The Voice TV show in February along with his brother Bizzi, will be performing his Legends Of Soul show on Saturday, May 24.
The show is one of a series organised by Wayno Promotions, a non profit-making organisation run by Buckingham landscape gardener Wayne King, which raises money for local charities.
Wayno Promotions has already raised over £1,000 for Florence Nightingale Hospice, the League of Friends of Buckingham Hospital and Buckingham Pre-School Playgroup.
Its previous shows in Buckingham, at venues including the Old Town Hall and the New Inn, have sold out.
Mr King is now on the committee of Buckingham Athletic Sports and Social Club and he’s promoting a series of music events there, including Legends Of Soul, in which Shenton Dixon pays tribute to Louis Armstrong, George Benson, Barry White and Stevie Wonder, while playing the instruments they are famed for.
Top-class musician and vocalist Shenton has starred in the West End musicals Buddy and Dancing In The Streets.
Tickets are £10 for members and £12 for non-members.
