Cheekie Pinkies MoonWalk team stepped up their fundraising last weekend with an Easter fete.

The fundraiser, held at Brackley Town Hall, raised more than £600 for the four friends’ challenge to take part in Walk the Walk - a 26.2mile walking marathon around the streets of London.

Linda Lester, Kerri Seymour, Jo Freer and Marion Dickinson are aiming to raise £500 each for the charity which supports breast cancer research.

The fete featured an Easter-themed tombola and raffle as well as an Easter bunny hunt and a performance from Starlight, Turweston, dancers.

The foursome are now stepping up their training efforts in preparation for the challenge on May 10. To support them log on to https://moonwalklondon2014.everydayhero.com/uk/cheekie-pinkies
