New faces are being welcomed to key roles at a district council.
Councillor for Bicester North, Melanie Magee, has been appointed vice chairman at Cherwell District Council, supporting new chairman Alastair Milne Home, councillor for Banbury Calthorpe, following a vote at the council’s annual general meeting yesterday, Monday. He takes over from councillor, Lawrie Stratford.
Other changes include Tony Ilott (Banbury Hardwick) as the new lead member for clean and green and George Reynolds (Sibford) as the lead member for public protection. Councillor Reynolds remains deputy leader.
